This anonymous motet is printed after Petrucci´s Motetti A numero trentatre, Venice, 1502. With is alternation between simple chordal passages and at times very elaborate episodes, it would seem to be the work of an Italian musician, or at least a musician who spent his working life in Italy; the relative absence of imitation would perhaps confirm this.
The original note values have been halved. A few editorial accidentals appear above the stave, applying to the one note only.
