Unlike the 15 "Paris" fantasias, which may have been composed by 'another composer with the same name' (to adapt Mark Twain's observation), the six "Oxford" fantasias must have been extremely popular as they are found in almost 20 sources. The instrumentation, treble, 2 tenors, bass is also different, and similar to that of Jenkins's 4-part fantasias.
