Bull, John: Chromatic Hexachord Fantasy

Walker Cunningham has provided a "re-transcription" of Bull's hexachord fantasy (No. 50 in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book) for four viols (treble or tenor; treble, alto or tenor; and two basses). The hexachord is repeated in all 12 transpositions, similar to the hexachord fantasias of Ferrabosco.
